I started Vision Fundamentals as an outreach to home schooled children who struggle with reading, letter reversals, sloppy handwriting and sports. These are often signs of an underlying visual perceptual problem. For details see my list of symptoms.

I have seen how frustrating it can be to see your child struggle with reading and not know how to help or who to go to for guidance. As a former home school mom I also know the financial challenge of having one parent stay home to school the children.

I have worked as a vision therapist for many years and have helped numerous children improve their visual perceptual skills. As their skills improve they gain confidence and discover that reading is fun and not something to be avoided.

I offer small classes with planned activities so that children can learn these skills in a weekly group setting.The price is reasonable so that more children can take advantage of them. For those children with more severe problems private sessions could be made available .
